The Vancouver Canucks are hoping that their hot streak continues tonight in Calgary following a weeklong holiday break.

The Canucks are 9-1-1 in their 11 games, culminating in a 2-1 victory at home against the Jets on December 22.

Goalie Roberto Luongo left the game late in the first period with a lower-body injury.

Eddie Lack filled in superbly, preserving the victory even as the Canucks lost a bit of their spark in the third period.

Lack's goals-against average is a stellar 1.93, which is sixth in the league.

He'll be back between the pipes tonight in Calgary, where he collected the first of his six NHL wins.
