Vancouver police called to a fight on West 4th Avenue

These days, most of the police news seems to be coming out of Surrey, not Kitsilano.

But this evening, the ScanBC Twitter account says police are on the scene in the 3200 block of West 4th Avenue in Vancouver.

The nearest intersection is Trutch Street.

Two males allegedly fell through a second-storey window while fighting. And both have been taken to hospital, according to ScanBC.

Meanwhile, Vancouver Sun reporter Mike Hager has tweeted a photo sent to him by a friend of emergency vehicles on West 4th Avenue.

Hager's friend informed him that a "stabbed man" is being treated.

Police have not issued any statements to confirm these reports.
