8 Vancouver concerts on sale Friday: Muse, the Wailers, Greg Dulli, etc.

      Get your concert cash together, kids, because this Friday (October 23) at 10 am a bunch of local shows go on sale.

      The biggie is English alt-rock band Muse, which plays Rogers Arena on December 10, with guests Phantogram. Tix are priced from $29.50* to $85*.

      The venerable Commodore Ballroom has two gigs going on sale: American soul-folk group Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats on Jan. 21 and reggae legends the Wailers on March 12. Tickets are $25* and $29.75*, respectively.

      Canadian electropop group Dragonette and Toronto rock band Young Empires coheadline the Vogue Theatre on December 11, with tix priced at $25*.

      Welsh experimental rockers Super Furry Animals are at the Imperial on February 4, and they'll cost you $25*.

      An evening with American rock singer-songwriter Greg Dulli takes place March 22 at the Biltmore Cabaret. Tickets, once again, are $25*.

      American hip-hop duo the Grouch and Eligh play Alexander Gastown on November 19, with guests Chali 2na, DJ Fresh, the Reminders, Kids, and DJ Seko. Tix are $20* and $25*.

      And the New Year's Eve 2016 Glitz & Glamour Gala on Dec. 23 at the Hilton Vancouver Metrotown features music by Alibaba, Earl da Pearl, DJ Superfly, Daddy Mikey, DJ Reign, DJ El Nino, DJ Kemo, Latin DJ Soundloco, and DJ Reign. Tix are $99* and $60*.

      And for those who can't wait until Friday to score concert tickets, tix for Canadian rock legend Burton Cummings on December 30 at the River Rock Show Theatre go on sale Thursday at 10 am. You can snap them up for $89.50* and $79.50*.
