MLA Spencer Chandra Herbert takes to the stage with Vancouver TheatreSports League

Spencer Chandra Herbert has always been a bit of a political ham with a mastery of improv in the legislature. But how do those skills translate to a stage where there's sometimes no supporting cast thumping their fists on their desks?

Tonight (October 29), the Vancouver-West End MLA will be on stage with the Vancouver TheatreSports League for Throwback TheatreSports, an evening of improv celebrating the best—and worst—of the 1980s.

A strong supporter of the arts and a VTSL alum, Chandra Herbert will be joined by special guest and fellow alum Denny Williams.

The show starts at 7:30 p.m. at the Improv Centre on Granville Island (1502 Duranleau Street). Tickets are $21 and include a drink.
