      Athletes in freestyle motocross, BMX, and skate perform at Nitro Circus Live. Held at Rogers Arena.

      Kitty Nights presents a post-Halloween party with Burgundy Brixx, the Viva Vancouver Dancers, and the Purrrfessor. Held at the Biltmore Cabaret.

      At Halloween at FlyOver Canada, guests can make their way through a haunted hallway and a flight across Canada. Held at FlyOver Canada.

       

      DANCE

      UBC Bhangra Dance brings the South Asian dance form to the Vancouver Public Library Central Branch.

      At the Britannia Community Centre, you can dance to live swing music played by Impressions Big Band, with vocalist Peter Juric.

       

      LITERARY EVENTS

      Award-winning authors Renée Sarojini Saklikar and Aislinn Hunter discuss how they approach the difficult subjects of personal, cultural, and historical trauma. Held at SFU Goldcorp Centre for the Arts.

      Join filmmaker Max Fraser and author Mark Zuehlke for an event to honour Canadian veterans of World War II. Held at SFU Goldcorp Centre for the Arts.

      Franci Louann hosts poets Alan Girling and Kyle McKillop at the Heritage Grill.

       

      MUSIC

      The Gallery Singers present the music of Orlando di Lasso at the Redeemer Lutheran Church.

      Classical violinist Caroline Goulding (pictured above) and pianist Wenwen Du perform music by Bach, Beethoven, Debussy, and Bartók. Held at the Vancouver Playhouse.

      The St. James Hall hosts chamber music performed by pianist Monica Pfau, oboist Geronimo Mendoza, clarinetist Johanna Hauser, bassoonist Gwen Seaton, and French hornist Richard Mingus.

       

      MOVIES

      HUB Cycling presents an afternoon of local and international short films about bikes. Held at the Cinematheque.
