Netflix adds It Follows to its arsenal of Halloween-ready horror flicks

A couple of weeks ago I did a roundup of decent horror flicks currently streaming on Netfllix Canada, pointing to The Evil Dead, Berberian Sound Studio, Creep, The Dark Hours, and The Woman in Black.

But then, three days after I posted my little list, Netflix Canada started streaming It Follows.

Way to show me up, guys!

It Follows was released in theatres in Vancouver last March and instantly blew the horror competition out of the water. One legendary film critic had this to say about it:

"Every once in a while a low-budget indie fright flick comes along that makes everything on the major studios’ horror plate look like a pile of steaming crap. It Follows is that film, right now."

You can read more of my review right here, but better yet, after tonight's trick-or-treaters have done their thing, hunker down on the couch with those leftover bags of Hawkins Cheezies and watch the damn thing.
