Robin Thicke cancels Vancouver concert planned for March

Robin Thicke’s upcoming Vancouver show at Rogers Arena has been cancelled. The American singer was scheduled to perform on March 27.

No reason was given for the cancellation. Promoter LiveNation issued the following statement: Tickets purchased online or by telephone will be refunded automatically. Ticket holders who purchased in-person are eligible for refunds at their point of purchase.”

This marks the third time in recent memory that major recording artist has bailed on a Vancouver show. Kanye West cancelled two Vancouver appearances last fall, one them a makeup date for the first no-show.

To ease your disappointment over the cancellation, might we suggest you hunker down in front of your computer for a viewing of “Blurred Lines”. Don’t forget your Kleenex box. Fellas, that goes for you too.

omg it's the end of human existence as we know it.

Meanwhile people are being slaughtered around the world, and sick poor children right here in Vancouver are seriously ill and without Food.

But hey don't let that interfere with your Timmie's or Starbucks (that ca$h could eliminate poverty for children in BC alone within 1 year!).

How dare you spend time going to the straight.com and reading an article about a concert cancellation. Don't you know every second you spend typing comments is a second you HAVEN'T spent digging water wells in impoverished areas???

This dude's dad is more popular...the Orpheum would've been a more suitable venue. Kanye should be banned from even playing in local malls.

Danger of overconfidence. Honestly, I've been a fan since 2004 and he does actually have a roster of good tunes...before the release of "Blurred Lines". Shoulda started out at the Queen Elizabeth, or Orpheum, or even the River Rock start. He coulda sold out, and had to add shows. Now he went down in history as the guy who cancelled Rogers Arena due to low sales.

Jessie J was going to be the back up artist. Absurd, she's ten times the singer that Robin Thicke is.
