Kim Mitchell, the party-rockin' pride of Sarnia, Ontario, plays the Commodore Ballroom tonight.

      Should be a good 'un.

I remember when I interviewed Mitchell and his songwriting partner Pye Dubois at a Vancouver restaurant back in the late '80s/early '90s, I think it was, around the time of Rockland.

I took my plexiglass Raven with me and my special silver autograph-signing felt pen, and he did his rock 'n' roll duty by scribbling IS THIS MIDDLE 'C'? on one of the frets.

      He's a funny guy.

Let's hope he plays "Lager and Ale" tonight.

      And solos in "middle C".
