The Cultch and the PuSh International Performing Arts Festival present One at the Cultch’s Historic Theatre (1895 Venables Street) from January 28 to February 8.

Mani Soleymanlou’s autobiographical play traces his journey from his birthplace in Iran to Paris, Toronto, Ottawa, and finally Montreal. One looks at a life split between two cultures, the desire to belong, and a journey to find one’s place in the world.

One is performed by Orange Noyée, a Montreal- based theatre company founded in 2011 by Soleymanlou.
