Vancouver guitar great Todd Taylor plays with Steve Kozak at Pat's Pub tonight

Just saw a tweet from Steve Kozak, the local blues baron who handles the Wednesday Night Blues & Brews show at Pat's Pub and Brewhouse.

Mmmm....blues and brews....

Anyway, turns out Steve-O's got a special guest coming by tonight in the form of Todd Taylor, who's a bit of a guitar legend in these parts.

I used to love his band, Two Trains, which also included singer-keyboardist Mike Weaver, who went on to become an actor and get a co-starring role in the short-lived TV series The Mullets.

I also used to love watching Taylor tear it up on guitar when he was in Brickhouse and they used to play those summertime "booze cruises" that local radio guy and harmonica ace Stormin' Norm Casler used to host.

If those old memories can be trusted, should be a party at Pat's tonight!
