Snowfall brought 35 centimetres of fresh powder to Whistler

      Whistler's ski season is scheduled to open on November 26.

      But if cooler weather prevails, it's possible that boarders and other winter adventurers may be up on the resort's two mountains well before that.

      Whistler's resident godfather of freeskiing, Mike Douglas, and Robin Van Gyn were given first crack at gliding down Blackcomb Mountain yesterday. In case you're wondering, they made it up there on a helicopter.
