Justin Bieber moves ahead of Rob Ford after Miami Beach arrest

Justin Bieber is doing his best to bump off Toronto mayor Rob Ford as Canada's most obnoxious celebrity.

The Biebs cranked things up in their competition by getting busted in Miami Beach for drag racing and for resisting arrest.

It looked like Ford was well in the lead earlier this week after he was seen to be clearly inebriated in a new video.

Ford added a bit more sizzle for the late-night comedians by speaking in a Jamaican accent.

But the other YouTube sensation doesn't give up so easily.

According to the police report, the 19-year-old pop star was caught racing in a Lamborghini.

"I immediately smelled an odor of alcohol eminating from the drivers [sic] breach and bloodshot eyes," an officer identified only as "Medina" writes in the report. "The driver had slow deliberate movements and a stuper [sic] look on his face. These are all indicators of an impaired driver."

Then Bieber allegedly stated: "What the fuck did I do? Why did you stop me?"

Bieber has also been charged with driving with an expired driver's licence.

      Give this round to Justin.

But don't count out Ford. He has shown remarkable staying power, plus he can take a punch from the media unlike anyone else.

And it's Ford, not the Biebs, who referred to his detractors as maggots.

This battle is far from over.

At least Ford has some charisma. Lol.

This saddens me. The smile on his face would indicate to me (a non-psychologist, admittedly) that he is not in any way ashamed nor distressed by the ramifications of what Could have happened in this instance. He is out of control, and I seriously hope he gets help soon. What a waste of talent (and yes, I am one adult who actually feels the kid has talent). Too bad he's using his celebrity to be all Brittany-Lindsay-insert name here....

On the vote for Canada's most obnoxious celebrety - ok we all hear about Ford as this crazy freak in office that the media has blown completely out of proportion than to his endeavors as mayor & what he has actually done for the city of Toronto, that the media has completely ignored. Bieber is just what he is - a talented media whore. Harper is as relative as he gets being a pc - he is actually normal for who he is & represents. But Trudeau is the real snake on this list! the fact that the uninformed are actually going to vote for this guy based soley on his "charm" & public persona? He is just a liberal tool to draw away votes from the parties that the voters should be voting for based on representations of their own ideals & what they believe really needs change. Trudeau is a clown puppet drawing the completley uninformed & those who pay absolutley no attention to actual causes & what's going on in their community & their world but pay way more attention to celebrity stars like Bieber & their favorite prime time tv series. Please vote based on who you feel most represents your ideals, not looks & charm & PLEASE WAKE THE @#$% UP!

Money comes and goes Justin.....if your career comes to an end; one of the best suggestions I could make to you would be to give your parents 5 million dollars that they could lock away in trust for themselves... savings only- no investment.

They could "save your bacon" should you decide, or be forced, to live a normal- everyday- Canadian life. I hope somebody sees this; someone who has your best interests at heart and enacts this "plan C" for you.

      Good luck Justin.
