3:01 Pick Me Up: Eating Out

Let’s face it: 3 p.m. is the cruellest time of the workday. The morning latte has worn off, and the post-lunch crash has you staggering around like an extra from a George A. Romero flick. That’s why, each weekday at 3:01 p.m., we present you with a video hand-picked to kick-start your heart.

Eating Out is something of a local-heroes supergroup, featuring members of Nu Sensae, White Lung, and Peace. The band's video for "That's My Man" will resonate with you if you went to high school in the '90s. Or if you ever watched any TV shows set in a '90s-era high school, and maybe starring that chick from Homeland and that dude from 30 Seconds to Mars. Anyhow, we spotted what might have been a vintage Sub Pop LOSER T-shirt and it sent us into nostalgic reverie. 

Oh, and the song's good too. It takes a while to "pick up", but once it does you'll be in indie-rock heaven. In high school. In the '90s. Possibly listening to Doolittle on your cassette Walkman.
