It was a close race, and of course, WE'RE ALL WINNERS REALLY... but Vancouver's Camille Sullivan and Michael Eklund were slightly bigger winners than everyone else tonight, scoring the Best Actress and Best Actor prizes respectively at this year's UBCP/ACTRA awards ceremony for their work in the films Ally Was Screaming and Eadweard.

The other three awards handed out at Saturday's gala (November 7), which took place at the Playhouse theatre, were:

Dakota Daulby, Best Emerging Performer for Black Fly.

Brian Drummond, Best Voice for Nerds & Monsters.

Leif Havdale, Best Stunt for Arrow.

The John Juliani Award of Excellence was given to the excellent Brent Butt, while veteran stuntwoman Marny Eng took home the Lorena Gale Woman of Distinction Award.

The Union of British Columbia Performers (UBCP/ACTRA) is an autonomous branch of ACTRA (Alliance of Canadian Cinema, Television and Radio Artists).
