Super Bowl date change? Super Bowl Monday? Super Bowl Friday?

Mother Nature could force the NFL to move next Sunday's Super Bowl at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

The Seattle Seahawks are scheduled to take on Peyton Manning and the rest of the Denver Broncos on February 2.

But already, weather forecasters are suggesting that a paralyzing storm might make it the coldest NFL championship game yet.

The NFL has indicated that it would need 24 hours notice to move the game time, and 36 hours to move the day.

This year, the league scrapped a weather requirement that a host city with an outdoor stadium have an average temperature of 10° Celsius at this time of year.

      Big mistake.

Wimps, tell that to those fans who sit in the stands in Regina or Winnipeg. If you're going to have your playoffs in the winter expect winter weather, the players know this, its part of the game. In Vancouver its the rain and mud at least for the amateurs.

NFL players are actually real top athletes. CFL players go to work other jobs after game day. The two sports are not even compatible dude. NFL players deserve better. CFL sucks ass.

The Super Bowl is a game to determine which team is the best of the season. Not which team plays better inbad weather. I believe only cities with domes should be allowed to host championship games.

I prefer the elements to be part of the game same as home town crowd affects game with noise.. its all part of the game. The older players laugh at the people who can't play outside on real grass no matter what the weather. I remember playing in freezing rain, our fingers were so stiff you could barely catch the ball much less throw accurately.. but everyone was under the same conditions.. so its even.

Play the game as scheduled. to change it would eliminate alot of people who have to work on mon-fri...east coast can't stay up till 11-12am... vice versa if they start at 6 eastern time. Many won't even be home from work... tell the overpaid to earn their pay... gee , the 1910 players played for nothing and did it for the thrill of victory !! I have sat in bengals stadium in 4 deg weather.. GET OVER IT !

The Superbowl should be moved to Arizona, permanently. Best conditions this time of year for both players and the fans that spend thousands to attend.
