Ringo Starr's All-Starr Band to perform at Hard Rock Casino Vancouver

    1 of 2 2 of 2

Maybe you saw him at the Grammy's the other night, performing his old hit "Photograph" and then playing drums behind Paul McCartney on some song that wasn't a Beatles tune.

Well, now you can see him in the flesh, as legendary Fab Four drummer and all-around good guy Ringo Starr is bringing his All-Starr Band to the Hard Rock Casino Vancouver on July 15.

Ringo's band will include guitarist Steve Lukather (Toto), keyboardist Greg Rolie (Santana, Journey), bassist Richard Page (Mr. Mister), drummer Gregg Bissonette (Joe Satriani), and multi-instrumentalist-vocalist Todd Rundgren (Todd Rundgren).

Tickets for the show go on sale Feb. 6 at 10 am at Ticketmaster, priced at $164.50, $154.50, and $149.50 (plus service charges).

If you saw Paul McCartney back in November of 2012, now's your chance to say "I saw two Beatles before I died!", before you die. (Unless you're one of those lucky sods who saw all four moptops together way back when.)

And check out this recent setlist. Man, nothing against Ringo's solo stuff and the timeless Beatles tracks, but I gotta see Rundgren do "I Saw the Light"!

Me and a bunch of other people saw George Harrison at the Pacific Coliseum on the first date of his Dark Horse tour sometime back in the 70's.

Saw the first ringo allstar tour 25? Years ago, at the pacific coliseum with Danko and Helm and Billy Preston, sadly all gone now. A great night in the old
rink. A theatre setting should be even better, and so much closer!
