Stand up Comedy: Eight 1/2 Inches of Comedy

When and where: November 16 at 9 p.m. at  Eight and a Half
What to expect: Every week the best international pro comedians bless the stage of Eight 1/2 restaurant for a night of amazing comedy. On November 16, the headliner is Dino Archie. He's opened for Reggie Watts and toured with Chris D'elia. $4 beer. The only comedy show in town with an after-party.

What to expect: Ever wanted to try standup comedy? Newbies, amateurs, and touring pros share the stage in one of the best comedy rooms in the city. A nice, relaxed atmosphere, $5 pints (includes tax), and two-for-one pasta. Comics sign up at 7:45 p.m.

Stop Podcasting Yourself presents... A Yet to be Titled Art Show

When and where: November 19 to December 5, 12 to 5 p.m. at Hot Art Wet City Gallery
What to expect: To celebrate the 400th episode of local comedy podcast Stop Podcasting Yourself, we’re hosting an art show dedicated to Canadian comedians. Art inspired by Canadian comedians and art made by Canadian comedians in honour of Graham Clark and Dave Shumka’s beloved podcast. What to expect: Somewhere in the back of your closet gathering dust and turning yellow with age is comedic gold.
