The Georgia Straight proudly sponsors the Snowed In Comedy Tour

The sixth annual Snowed In Comedy Tour comes to the Vogue Theatre (918 Granville Street) on February 8 at 8 p.m. Four comedians come together to snowboard during the day and perform stand-up at night across Western Canada.

This year’s lineup features Arj Barker, Pete Johansson, Craig Campbell, and Dan Quinn.

Arj Barker is an American comedian best known for his role in Flight of the Concords. He is also the creator of the hit off-Broadway show, Marijuana-logues, which is a parody of the Vagina Monologues. Barker has performed at the Melbourne Comedy Fest, and appeared on the Late Show with David Letterman, The Tonight Show, Last Comic Standing, and Just for Laughs. He has also done three Comedy Central specials.

Pete Johansson is a Canadian comedian based in London, England. Johansson has appeared at the Edinburgh Comedy Festival, Winnipeg Comedy Fest, Comedy Central’s Premium Blend, Comic Remix, CBS’s Late Late Show, and three episodes of Just for Laughs.

Craig Campbell has appeared on Ed’s Night Party, Jim Carrey Live, The Dennis Miller Show, and Just for Laughs. In the past year, he appeared at the Chortle Awards, completed a nationwide solo tour, and performed on Dave’s One Night Stand, Russell Howard’s Good News, and Michael Macintyre’s Comedy Roadshow.

Dan Quinn has toured Canada, the U.S., and U.K., and won the Canadian comedy competition at Just for Laughs. He has toured with big acts including Russell Peters, Tracy Morgan, Bob Saget, Rob Schneider, and Tom Green.
