The Cure has announced that it will play Deer Lake Park on May 31, 2016, with guests Twilight Sad.

The pioneering British alt-goth rock band—led by vocalist, guitarist and principal songwriter Robert Smith—was hugely popular in the '80s and early '90s, with hit albums such as 1985's The Head on the Door and 1992's Wish, which respectively spawned the hits "In Between Days" and "Friday I'm in Love".

Tickets for the Burnaby show are priced at $57 (plus service charges and fees) and go on sale to the general public on Friday (November 27) at Ticketmaster.
