Joseph Gordon-Levitt joins Janet Jackson's Rhythm Nation

Lip Sync Battle is one of the latest in a long line of shows, in this era of the Kardashians, that technically shouldn't have had any longevity but somehow has managed to become a ratings success.

It's been renewed for a second season and its Christmas special went viral, thanks to Joseph Gordon-Levitt recreating a faithful version of Janet Jackson's 1989 single "Rhythm Nation".

His take is in the clip below, after Anthony Mackie does a strip-tease for MC Hammer's "2 Legit 2 Quit". Unfortunately, there were no wardrobe malfunctions.
