The 30th installment of Dances for a Small Stage takes place at the Ukrainian Centre (154 East 10th Avenue) from February 13 to 15.

This Valentine’s themed evening features choreographers Stacey Tookey and Peter Chu, actors John Murphy and Patti Allan, and dancers Noam Gagnon, Rob Kitsos, Karissa Barry, and more.

“Small Stage has always been about doing things differently—so when we say ‘Valentine’s themed,’ you really shouldn’t expect much gushy sentiment,” Julie-anne Saroyan, MovEnt Artistic producer, stated in a news release. “Our tribute to the romantic day will instead take the form of John Murphy emceeing as Oz’s heartless Tin Man. He’s written his own politically incorrect, rather scandalous script that will usher audiences through one of our most varied and high profile line-ups ever.”

Tickets to Dances for a Small Stage are $20 and can be purchased online in advance.
