      From December 4 to 7, the Golden Horn Vancouver Turkish Film Festival takes over the Vancity Theatre (1181 Seymour).

      The second annual celebration of Turkish cinema will kick off with opening-night film Not So Far Away, which is also part of the Turkish Women's Showcase, a curated selection of features, documentaries, and shorts directed by Turkish women.

      Other highlighted films include Motherland, Until I Lose My Breath, I Love You, A Dream School in the Steppes, Frenzy, Ivy, There Where Atilla Passes, Snow Pirates, Remake Remix Ripoff, Lemonade, Spirit of Dust, and 8 Seconds.
