Théâtre la Seizième presents Evelyne de la Chenelière’s Des fraises en janvier (Strawberries in January) at Studio 16 (1545 West 7^th Avenue) from February 18 to March 1.

This romantic comedy, presented in French with English surtitles, tells the story of Sophie and François as they wander between love and friendship. When Lea and Robert enter the picture, the relationships between all four individuals take a turn for the complicated.

Created at Théâtre la Moluque in Carleton in 1999, Des fraises en janvier has been translated into numerous languages and performed in seven different countries.

This Vancouver production directed by Craig Holzschuh features Joey Lespérance, Julie McIsaac, Gilles Poulin-Denis and Julie Trépanier on stage.
