On December 19, 7:30 pm, Winter Harp hits the St. Andrew's-Wesley United Church (1012 Nelson).

For over 20 years, the group has been presenting concerts that see members, clad in medieval attire, perform a collection of music that ranges from familiar carols to Celtic, Medieval, world, and Spanish material.

Often accompanied by a backdrop of cathedral and snow, the music is performed on a mix of modern, ancient, and rare instruments.

This year, the Winter Harp ensemble includes Kim Robertson (Celtic harp, voice), Janelle Nadeau (pedal harp, voice), Krista Gibbard (voice), Lauri Lyster (percussion, voice), Jeff Pelletier (flute, bass flute, wooden piccolo), Joaquin Ayala (nyckelharpas, bass psaltery, orangistrum), Adam Henderson (narrator, percussion), and Lori Pappajohn (director).

Tickets for Winter Harp are $38 (plus service charges and fees) and are available online.
