From January 15 to 31, the Dine Out Vancouver Festival takes place at various venues and restaurants around Metro Vancouver.

This year's festival features a diverse range of activities, including feasts inspired by culinary-minded films, a whisky-focused dinner with a nod to Robbie Burns, a wine debate and B.C. VQA tasting, an under-the-sea-themed menu at the Vancouver Aquarium, and a chef's personal tribute to his mentors.

The Cocktail Masterclass series will see Vancouver bartender Lauren Mote compile a curriculum that explores some of the cocktail world's most important ingredients.

At Film Feast events, diners can partake of gourmet meals inspired by The Search for General Tso and Chef's Table, paired with a screening of each film.

The Bauhaus Tribute sees a six-course menu created by Bauhaus executive chef Stefan Hartmann to honour his personal mentors and chefs Marco Pierre White and Juan Amador.

Hosted by Big Rock Urban Brewery, the Brewmaster's Breakfast features beer-inspired dishes such as spelt-grain flapjacks, beer kielbasa, and hopped hollandaise.

At the Vancouver Aquarium, executive chef Tim Bedford pairs a four-course meal and Red Truck craft brews with a behind-the-scenes adventure.

Bhangra with Vij's will see diners enjoy the Vancouver chef's flavourful East Indian dishes and a live performance by the International Bhangra Society.

The World Chef Exchange features a series of five dinners created by local chefs who have joined forces with culinary talent from Sydney, New York City, Copenhagen, Los Angeles, and Puerto Vallarta.

In addition to a feast of events, participating restaurants will offer specially designed three (or more)-course menus at price tiers of $40, $30, and $20. Restaurants and menus will be revealed on January 6.
