The Georgia Straight proudly sponsors A Christmas Reprise XIII

On December 19, 2 pm, the Vancouver Cantata Singers present A Christmas Reprise XIII at Holy Rosary Cathedral (646 Richards).

The local choral ensemble will perform an uniterrupted afternoon concert of Christmas favourites and lesser-known works for unaccompanied choir.

This year's repertoire includes Poulenc's Salve Regina, de Victoria's O Magnum Mysterium, Tallis's O Nata Lux, and Mendelssohn's Weihnachten.

The concert will also feature seasonal carols such as O Tannenbaum, I Wander as I Wonder, O Little Town of Bethlehem, and It Came Upon a Midnight Clear, ending with a rendition of Biebl's Ave Maria.
