Banyen Books & Sound nearly had another car crash through the same window

      For staff at Banyen Books & Sound, there was a bit of déja vu this week when a Lexus SUV shattered the front window of the Kitsilano store.

      Nearly a year ago, the store had a close call when a car rolled from the nearly IGA store and stopped a centimetre away from the same window.

      Nobody was injured in either accident.

      The popular store has remained open at the corner of West 4th Avenue and Dunbar Street as the window is being repaired.
