X-fans will be pleased to know that the second trailer for X-Men: Days of Future Past has finally been released.

In the forthcoming film, Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) tries to save the future of mutants and humans by traveling back in time where he meets younger versions of Professor X (James McAvoy), Magneto (Michael Fassbender), and Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence) and attempts to change history.

The superhero blockbuster features a mix of familiar faces playing the adult versions of characters (Patrick Stewart as Professor X, Ian McKellen as Magneto, Halle Berry as Storm) and a roster of new characters to the film series.

Empire magazine revealed 25 covers for the March edition, each with a different character from the film. New characters included Blink (Fan Fan Bing), Warpath (Booboo Stewart), Quicksilver (Evan Peters), Sunspot (Adan Canto), and Bishop (Omar Sy).

      Oh, and—of course—Sentinels.

The film is set for a May 23 release.

Here's the new poster as well. (As has been pointed out, an unfortunate juxtaposition makes it looks like someone lit a match too close to Professor X's posterior.)
