Whistler Blackcomb unleashes unicorn cats on riders littering in its ski and snowboard parks

One of Whistler Blackcomb’s most popular Instagram accounts is on strike. Or engaged in protest, or something.

“Until people start packing out their trash we are going to only post pictures of unicorn cats,” reads a message posted there yesterday (March 24).

Thatwas no idle threat, apparently .

The feed usually populated by parks guru Brian Finestone’s pics of snowboarders and skiers in various states of flight has been completely taken over by horned felines.

The first hint of unhappy park employees appeared on March 22 when a photograph of a bag of trash was posted online.

“Five bags of recycling from Whis Park today is five too many!” the message alongside that picture read. “Don't be a #lazy #slacker pack out your trash. Snow melts, garbage doesn't!”

Three days later, nothing but unicorn cats.
