Kim Mitchell suffers heart attack, undergoes emergency surgery

One of my fave Canadian rockers is recovering in hospital after suffering a heart attack yesterday.

According to a Facebook message posted by his management company, Kim Mitchell--who you surely know from such radio hits as "Go For Soda" and "Patio Lanterns", and for even better tunes with his old band Max Webster--had to undergo emergency surgery yesterday.

He is expected to be released in a day or two.

We wish the "Toronto Tonto" a speedy recovery, until he's back in full party form, with decisions to be made between lager and ale.
