Warren Haynes announces Seattle show, Newt begs for Vancouver date

Warren Haynes, the incredible American guitarist, singer, and songwriter from Gov't Mule and the Allman Brothers, announced today that he'll be playing a string of Pacific Northwest shows in March, including one at Seattle's Moore Theatre on March 28.

There's no Vancouver date in the itinerary, though. And that really bums me out.

The last time Haynes played here was with the Mule at the Commodore back in October of 2013, and it was one of the best shows of the year.

Three years is far too long to go without hearing his piercing slide guitar and impassioned vocals.

Come on Vancouver concert promoters, somebody step up and do the right thing: bring Warren Haynes back to town!
