The Georgia Straight proudly sponsors L'immediat

From February 4 to 6, 8 pm, L'immédiat is on stage at the Vancouver Playhouse (600 Hamilton).

Presented as part of the PuSh International Performing Arts Festival, L'immédiat  fuses crowd-pleasing slapstick and circus comedy.

As the performers of Camille Boitel's Association Immédiat twist and turn through a landscape of piles of junk and worn wooden furniture, their pratfalls begin to look like a combination of dance and pantomime.

A meditation on physical comedy reminiscent of the Marx Brothers, L'immédiat sees inanimate objects take on a whimsical life of their own.
