Expect to see a long lineup outside the H&M store at Pacific Centre (609 Granville Street) this fall. Limited edition designer collections are known for attracting fashion lovers from across the Lower Mainland, and Alexander Wang has been tapped as the Swedish fast-fashion brand’s next feature designer. The Alexander Wang x H&M collection launches November 6.

Designer collaborations are only available at select H&M locations, and the downtown Vancouver store is the only participating one in B.C.

Wang is the 12th designer to create a special collection for H&M, which started in 2004 with Chanel designer Karl Lagerfeld. Wang is a 30-year-old American designer who rose to prominence in the mid-2000s. He has won numerous awards under his own eponymous label and in 2012, was named creative director for French design house Balenciaga.

The Alexander Wang x H&M collection will include clothing and accessories for men and women.
