If you want to see the results of Capilano University’s Studio Art program, now is the time. This year’s Capilano University Studio Art Grad Show will be the last.

Budget cuts at Capilano University last year led to the decision to suspend admission for the Studio Art and Textile Arts diplomas, effectively ending the programs.

The multimedia exhibition will feature paintings, sculptures, ceramics, drawings, photography, and digital art by students of the program. A media release stated that “[the show] is a bittersweet tribute to the program.”

The Grad Show will take place on April 17 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Gordon Smith Gallery of Canadian Art.
