The Georgia Straight proudly sponsors Garth Knox

On February 13, classical musician Garth Knox hits the Orpheum Annex (823 Seymour).

Presented by Vancouver New Music, Knox will be performing new works for the viola d'amore, including world premieres specially composed by Farshid Samadari and Donald Stewart.

Also included in the concert will be Elizabethan melodies, Baroque variations, and newer electronic pieces by Olga Neuwirth and Georg Friedrich Haas.

The concert takes place at 8 pm, with a pre-show chat preceding it at 7:15 pm.

Tickets for Garth Knox are $15 (for students) and $35 (regular admission) and are available online.
