      CONCERTS

      The Canadian Pacific Blues Society presents performances by harmonica greats Little Charlie Baty, Curtis Salgado, Aki Kumar, Big Jon Atkinson, Anson Funderburgh, R.W. Grigsby, and Wes Starr. Held at the Rio Theatre.

      American heavy-metal band Trivium tours in support of latest release Silence in the Snow at Venue.

       

      FORUMS

      The Art of Loving hosts an evening covering erotic techniques and products that will enable you and your partner to enjoy a heightened level of excitement and pleasure.

       

      KIDS' STUFF

      Kids under 12 can immerse themselves in a wide range of hands-on workshops led by professional artists and performers at the Children's Art Festival. Held at the Richmond Cultural Centre.

      Vancouver children's entertainer Marnie performs a kid-friendly concert with characters like Mumbu the Monkey and Tula the Kangaroo. Held at the Jewish Community Centre.

      The Anvil Centre hosts Family Day activities like Eric and Juliana Vallee’s family fun zone, Ishdafish, magician Peter Rooke, the Stage New West photo booth, Nintendo games, live bands, crafts, clowns, balloons, and food trucks.

      Motus O presents a kid-friendly one-hour show that adapts Lewis Carroll's whimsical story Alice in Wonderland. Held at the ACT Arts Centre.

       

      SPORTS

      The Vancouver Giants take on the Edmonton Oil Kings in Western Hockey League action. Event includes family-friendly skating and games. Held at the Pacific Coliseum.

       

      MUSIC

      Musica intima presents a concert of sing-along pieces and Pharrell Williams's hit "Happy". Held at St. Philip's Anglican Church.
