Coastal Jazz announces the Women in Jazz series

      Coastal Jazz has just announced several concerts in its Women in Jazz series. 

      Proceeds from three of the concerts—“Strong Women Strong Music”--will benefit Altira’s Women’s Resource Society, which helps women and their children to live a life free of violence.

      All concerts take place at Frankie's Jazz Club:

      Nightcrawlers with Dawn Pemberton Feb 28, 8 pm, $15

      Helen Sung Quartet/Jodi Proznick Quartet with guest Laila Biali March 2-3, 8 pm, $35

      Champian Fulton Quartet plus Maya Rae March 4-5, 7:30 pm, $25

      Helen Hansen Quartet March 6, 8 pm, $15
