Did this YouTube user find a sasquatch near Squamish?

A recently posted YouTube video may or may not have captured a sasquatch roaming the Tantalus Range mountains near Squamish, B.C.

In a video posted six days ago by YouTube user M. Lam, a fast-moving figure can be seen wandering a snow pack, "in the middle of nowhere".

Lamont and a friend were stopped for lunch when they spotted the creature "hiking through snow like it's his job," they note in the video.

According to Global News, the shaky video was filmed about two years ago.

Sorry, boys, but that little black speck you think is a Sasquatch is actually (get this) a BEAR!

Why has this been posted now and taken 2 years ago.

If they figured they had real footage then they would have claimed their 15 minutes of fame back then!

Interesting but questionable guys who were obviously drunk and they saw what they thought was a sasquatch!

Joking about luring me with beers, oops I mean the figure in the video.. That is sooo mean!

They could not know I was coming back from local bar!

I would have had a beer with those guys and introduced them to my gang!

well - why post it 2 years after you recorded this. Secondly, why not make the trek down slope to get some real PROOF like tracks in the snow. This is why you never take BEER IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE because your mind plays tricks on you. Makes you think you believe you are seeing the legendary sasquatch when is was really a wolf or bear. Bigfoot cannot be caught on camera, ..idiots

Sasquatch, it's hypothesized, is a Gigantopithecus which is the largest hominoid that ever lived and is believed to be extinct. But...if you up for a deeper analysis than the KoKonee beer characterizations of Saquatch, check out the compelling research by retired L.A. police officer David Palides here:
