Essential Italian hand gestures that will come in handy at the Vancouver International Wine Festival this week

Canada’s premier wine show is back in town, which showcases 155 wineries from 14 countries and runs until this Sunday (February 28).

The theme country for the 2016 Vancouver International Wine Festival is Italy, and one of the participating Italian wineries is Ruffino.

Producing unique wines from their Tuscan estates, the team at Ruffino has put together a fun video that teaches the essential hand gestures used by Italians when talking about food and drink.

Hand signals including “hello”, “delicious”, and “shall we go for a drink” are highlighted in this short clip by chef Pino Posteraro—useful tips for those planning on checking out the wine festival.
