Get your “Bike Lanes Give Me a Powell Movement” T-shirts while supplies last

Remember those cheeky “Bike Lanes Make Me Hornby” T-shirts that Vision Vancouver came up with in 2010?

You might recall that Suzanne Anton, an NPA councillor at the time, was not amused. She urged Mayor Gregor Robertson to have his party "shelve these shirts until construction and the bike lane trial is completed" on Hornby Street.

If the city's ruling party would like to go down a similar road—or bike route, I suppose—in 2014, it could sell a limited run of T-shirts celebrating the Powell Street separated bike lane proposal put forward by HUB Cycling.

Party operatives wouldn't even have to design the thing, as I've done the heavy lifting. (Our friends at Vancouver Is Awesome love the idea, too.)

You'd buy a “Bike Lanes Give Me a Powell Movement” T-shirt, right?
