Vancouver to celebrate women in the arts with a March 9 gathering at City Hall

The mayor of Vancouver has invited people to City Hall for a celebration of women in the arts.

The event will feature Vancouver Poet Laureate Rachel Rose, Musqueam artist Debra Sparrow, classical guitarist Hanh Nguyen, artist Lindsey Kyoko Adams, and singer-songwriter Claire Mortifee.

It’s scheduled to take place the evening of March 9, the day after International Women’s Day, beginning at 5:45 p.m.
