The headline certainly caught readers' attention: "Lawmen may have flushed out urinal thieves".

Writing on the Al.com blog, Carol Robinson reported that police had arrested two men suspected in numerous thefts from urinals in and around Birmingham, Alabama.

The men, who haven't been identified, reportedly stole flush valves and supply lines to urinals in numerous restaurants, including McDonald's, Arby's, Church's, and Burger King.

The metal wasn't made of copper, so it wasn't of much value to scrap dealers.

But the thefts might have created a lot of lucrative work for local plumbers.
