East Vancouver home with small problem of fire listed for $2 million

As I’ve written before, repeatedly, a "fun" game has developed online where Vancouver residents trade absurd property listings.

Last January, for example, a cramped and rundown house in Point Grey caught the city’s attention when it was listed for $2.4 million.

Today’s entry: an East Vancouver three-bedroom near the intersection of 1st Avenue and Nanaimo Street.

Alongside that price tag is this hot description: “Existing house damaged by fire. Do not enter.”

The asking price is one dollar under $2 million.

While we're talking Vancouver real-estate, there’s a quick update I can provide you with on the Point Grey home that was listed for $2.4 million. On February 15, it was reported sold for $80,000 over the asking price.
