The 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup is one year away, and Canada will be its home.

Today (June 6), an event was held in Vancouver to kick off the one-year countdown to the tournament.

At Terry Fox Plaza at B.C. Place, politicians and soccer officials unveiled a countdown clock.
