Men tweet support for women's rights with #AllMenCan

In the wake of the shootings in Isla Vista, California, in May, the #YesAllWomen campaign launched on Twitter for women to share their personal experiences with misogyny, harassment, and rape.

The campaign was in response to the alleged shooter, 22-year-old Elliot Rodger, who wrote a 140-page manifesto against women.

When PolicyMic editor Elizabeth Plank (originally from Quebec) asked men to share what it means to be a man who supports women, the #AllMenCan hashtag was born and men began voicing their support for women's rights and gender equality.
