Rick Perry and Kathleen Wynne demonstrate difference between United States and Canada
In Canada's second-largest province by area, voters have just elected a lesbian, Kathleen Wynne, as premier.
The governor of America's second-largest state has reportedly compared homosexuality with alcoholism.
"Whether or not you feel compelled to follow a particular lifestyle or not, you have the ability to decide not to do that," Rick Perry said said in an article on the SFGate website. "I may have the genetic coding that I'm inclined to be an alcoholic, but I have the desire not to do that, and I look at the homosexual issue the same way."
Meanwhile, Texas Republicans want to give gays and lesbians access to "reparative therapy" to convert them into heterosexuals. They've even included this in their party platform.
Perry was unsuccessful in his attempt to win the Republican presidential nomination in 2012. But he could enter the race again in 2016.

It is your choice to 'think' such.
You do not have that right to choose for others.
Just so you understand ... the same thing can be said about hate and the perpetrators/inciters/believers it soapboxes.

Is there a country more in need of being obliterated by an asteroid than Canada? Hell, Toronto alone is probably Sodom and Gomorrha sqaured. (no, I'm not a Christian you stupid apes)
In any sane country, check that, in ANY country, people who consider the fact that a dyke was elected to be a prime minister to be shameful at worst and irrelevant at best. But this outpost of the Late Roman Empire considers it to be a reason for by Canada is blessed. It is to laugh.
Btw, this is the same creature that seeks to convert young children into accepting homosexuality as a normal lifestyle, against the wishes of their parents, when they are too young to mount a defence against such a despicable assault. I am tolerant wrt many things, but that is grounds to be hanged from the highest lamp post. But then this is what you need to expect when you hand over the education of your children to sexual deviants.
As for Perry: what about him? What is wrong with his comparison? Not only are homosexuals mentally ill (outside of their sexual dysfunction) but his comparison wasn't even intended to be malicious. It wasn't meant to characterize faggotry as a disorder like alcoholism (even though that is reasonable), it was meant to explain his stance wrt "born this way" and "it's a choice". In other words, he agrees with you totalitarian scumbags.
