From the Vault: A Vancouver Classic by Nickelback

It always pays to know your history. With that in mind, every Saturday From the Vault brings you a classic music video by a Vancouver artist.

Yeah, that's right. I'm going there. Perhaps the most divisive rock band of its time, Nickelback started out as a struggling indie act just like everyone else. Unlike everyone else, Chad Kroeger and company went on to sell millions and millions of records.

"Fly" comes from Nickelback's self-released debut EP from 1996, Hesher. Apologies for the poor quality, but until the band uploads a 1080p version to its official VEVO page, this is what we have to live with. And don't count on that happening, since Kroeger isn't especially proud of Hesher, which he once described as "terrible". You be the judge.
