Macaron lovers line up for Ladurée Vancouver’s grand opening (photos)

      “Are they lining up for a new iPhone or something?” asked a bystander looking at the growing line on Robson street earlier today.

      I had to inform them that it was not a new smartphone release causing this kind of frenzy, but an internationally renowned French pâtisserie opening its doors.

      Hundreds of excited customers lined up outside Ladurée (1141 Robson Street) this morning. Some even began waiting outside at 11 a.m. just to be the first ones to purchase some macarons and other delights offered at the shop.
