The Georgia Straight proudly sponsors the Vancouver Kiwanis Music Festivals

From April 4 to 23, the Vancouver Kiwanis Music Festivals hits various Metro Vancouver venues.

Highlights include 2,500 solo performances in piano, strings, classical voice, music theatre, brass, woodwinds, classical guitar, harp, and traditional Chinese instruments that take place in Vancouver.

Over 60 choirs and nearly as many bands and orchestras are set to perform in Richmond.

Participating venues include Immanuel Baptist Church, Kerrisdale Presbyterian Church, Knox United Church, Oakridge United Church, Spirit of Life Lutheran Church, Tom Lee Music Hall, Vancouver Academy of Music, Vancouver Symphony Orchestra School of Music, and Bethany Baptist Church.
