Ballet star Rex Harrington and fiance to compete on Amazing Race Canada

The Amazing Race Canada has announced its final teams for Season 2, and there are some big names in the final lineup.

Rex Harrington and Bob Hope. Well, not that Bob Hope, but Harrington's fiancé.

The 51-year-old Harrington, named an Officer of the Order of Canada in 2000, made his mark as the National Ballet of Canada's former principal dancer, and is currently the National Ballet's artist-in-residence. TV viewers may recognize him as a guest judge on So You Think You Can Dance Canada.

The 47-year-old Hope is a dental consultant originally from Winnipeg.

The Asburn, Ontario, couple has been together for 10 years.

They're not the only LGBT representation on the show.

Laura Takahashi and Jackie Skinner are a married couple from Toronto and sketch comedian Ryan Steele and former Mr. Gay Canada Rob Goddard are West End bartenders from Vancouver.

The series starts airing on CTV on July 8.
